Team Ten Looks First at Migrant Education Before Shifting to the Doppelgänger

Team Five Explores the American West...and Then Considers the Kindle
Team Five -- Ben Cornett, Caitlin Rozich, Stephanie Sorenson, and Nikki Madigan -- interviewed Dr. Witschi on the iconography of the American West, as found in photography, fiction, and film. Team Nine Focuses on Jane Addams and on Film Adaptation
Rosie Capps, Kevin Klump, Shauna Koszegi, and Adam Stutsman, working with their team coach Laura Citino, first interviewed Dr. Katherine Joslin on the literary life of Jane Addams. Team Eight, comprised of Bryan Phillippi, Aubrey Watson, Hannah Dulin, and Sally Johnson, interviewed Dr. Jana Schulman on the role of female characters in Beowulf. Team Eleven Focuses on the Political: First Machiavelli, Then Banned Books
Team Eleven -- Eric Cron, Ameythist Moreland, Doug Lance, and Megan Schwark -- worked with Dr. Tony Ellis to understand the career and legacy of the Italian writer Machiavelli. Team Two Studies the Trickster Figure and Romantic Poetry
Team Two, comprised of Jessica Bixel, Michelle Patten, Lyndsey McGee, and Katie O'Brien (top), researched the trickster figure with librarian Kate Langan. Team Six Explores the Connection Between Feminism and Art
After interviewing Dr. Gwen Raaberg on the Guerrilla Girls' movement, Team Six elected to continue their investigation into feminist interpretations of art history by creating a poster on the same theme. Team Four on the Origins of Punk and the Challenges of Film Adaptation
Team Four, comprised of Sandra Skelton, Max Witzke, and Courtney Ochab, took a walk on the wild side this semester, interviewing Dr. Steve Feffer on the synergy between punk music and the NYC experimental theatre scene of the 1970s...and then, with the help of their team coach, Laura Citino, the team studied film adaptations of science ficton and fantasy texts.

Team Seven Focuses on Linguistics and Literary Analysis
The members of team seven, Alicia Banaszewski, Brandon Kennison, Beth Leyder, and Dave Andrews, interviewed Dr. Lisa Minnick regarding the reasons she became interested in linguistics. You can watch a short clip here:
